I am a definite once a week shopper. I was shopping on Sundays and then the Lord got on my heart and so I stopped. Now I plan for Monday. Like I said earlier, I am trying to get to once a month shopping and cutting my budget even lower. So the following is my sale shopping list. There are even more deals, but this is my blog and its about me! So these are the things I am taking advantage of and how.
There are a few things I have on my list that I would normally not buy. I am going to take these deals and get them and store them for later. I think my dh (darling husband) will think I am lavishing him during din-din. Like the Mayo, I am bulk buying so I will not have to buy again for a while. Mayo has excelent shelve life. But the Sour cream, I will be making homemade mac and cheese with that and ham for a meal. We do not eat a lot of potatoes, but oh I love baked potatoes.

the jury is still out on the kool aid canister, since for $2 I can get a 5 lb bag of sugar and at $0.20 a packet for a 1/2 gallon of mix. I am not sure if I feel that the convenience of the canister is worth is.
Now I am going to take this list and go through what I have in the pantry/freezer and create my menu for 2-3 weeks. Then I will complete my list by Monday night. I will try and post the list as soon as I can.
Give you a hint on how I am doing. This past monday I bought everything we needed for the week for $38.88. Now grant it, I am taking into account that we will be out of town at a family reunion Friday PM (still eating at home before leaving, unless I can get a Hardee's burger worked out) and arriving home Monday in time to eat at home.
