Ready for Cricuteers in Paradise!

My name tag and place holder for this weekends crop! It is all paradised theme. So I am aired up with another person coming and I am making her name tag and place holder and she is making mine.
I used a lot of crystal effects ( that is why the letters and the flowers are glosssy) and glitter glue. To make the the place holder stand, I die cutted 2 top notes out of cardboard (from the creative memories paper pack, good chipboard quality) and folded one and glued the tops together, thus creating a stand.

So to get festive for the crop! I had to make a paradise apron! What do you thinK? I am going to sell this one off. I love the pink on the yellow!
To demonstrate how crazy I am, I actually made 2 aprons in 24 hours. The other one is Shelly H.'s apron that she ordered. Got to love it!

10 for $10 - tomorrow!

Here are the cards we are making for tomorrow. Aren't they so cute! I love them. It took me about 2 sittings to design them all.
I used mostly the Designer Series Paper that is part of the sale-a-bration set from Stampin' Up! You will notice there is one odd ball for the color pallet. I jst needed to see something else.
This is an easy class and should only take and hour and a half. so from 10 am to 11:30 am. This is a great beginners class, all you need is a glue stick. This class tops out at 7 participants.

It's my birthday!!

Let me introduce you to my little friend, Noamie!
He showed up for my birthday, we were kicking it back on the porch with some filtered water with a little strawberry.
I am having a birthday week! Since I am 31, I am celebrating until March 1st! March 1st is perfect since it will be the last day of the Cricut Swarm in Paradise!
In celebration! We are cropping for a little bit tomorrow with daquaries(sp?)! All you need to know is come and bring a party punch. I will have the wii ready! So get your super hula hoop skills warmed up.
Yes you can see in the background, nothing has sprouted yet.
I have already planted tomatoes, okra, corn, black beans, cowpeas, green beans, and cucumbers. I still have more to plant. I have cabbage to harvest and the cauliflower is still growing. I am going to post pics of it all soon.

Erica W. Craft Apron

My lighting is a little dark, but here is Miss Erica W.'s apron! If I was to start naming each apron, this one would conger up the name "Starburt Sherbet". Don't ask me folks, I have no idea where that came from.

I have a few more in the works. I need a couple of more pieces to finish the collection of those. They are already forming names. "Flip Flop Frog", "Croppin In Paradise" "Hello Sonshine" "Red Dragon". You can only imagine. I have no prospective parents for these 4 that will soon be on their way. I am making them in hopes of finding a good home for them. I will have any of my adoptable aprons at the Crop Swap and Sale, the first weekend in March.

Love You Much Bundle Projects

Eat your heart out! Isn't my mom awesome! I have no idea how she comes up with all of these projects but they are awesome! She put this class together from the lve you much bundle (probably while she was in her macdaddy craft room watching Monk with a diet coke on her right and her eading glasses at the end of her nose).

So the first pic is a cigar box style gift box. It uses the scallop envelope from the Stampin Up Big shot die cut. 4 envelopes are put together to create a box. She stamped the tissue paper that goes inside. The beautiful paper is part of the Stampin' Up Designer series paper that ranges between $9-$12. Ohh I love it.

Here is the scallop box die cut for the Big Shot.

She also included a tag for a bottle of wine. The perfect little gift when someone invites you for dinner.

2 cards from the stamp set.

Here is a candy set. I think it was filled with M&Ms. Then another little bag.

Here is a candy tube that she had a tootsie roll inside.

But here is my favorite! A box of chocolates. This is just the best, she got the candy muffin liners from Micheals. She made a box lid then with a sleeve that would fit it.

So absolutely cute!

Being Heartfully Festive

Here is my only ever decoration for valentines! I found the tree at JCPENNYS after Christmas for $6.
Katie and I have been making the ornaments here and there. The stamped pendent is from the love you much bundle. Do you love the heart at the top. We made that out of felt and the pendent die cut from the big shot. I took the 2 scallop circles and did a quick stitch together with cross stitch floss. The yoyos are from a little tool that make them easy, but I have a friend that uses old cds to make hers. I hope you love it! I do. I already have plans for Easter!
I also got the little ornament balls on clearance at Walmart $1 for all of those.

WHAT A CROP!!!!!

Ohh, I just have to gush about a great 2 days! We had a ton of people walk through our doors with a lot of fellow crafters and croppers walkin' out with a heck of a deal! Especially thanks to the one and only Tracy C!

Oh, we started Friday at NOON at the good ol' Rebekah Lodge!, cropped our way to MIDNIGHT! Got up and did the same on Saturday! We were delirious and happy by the end.

WOW though we had a great time. I got a lot of Christmas scrapbook pages laid out! Am a shame to say they are not complete but sometimes scrappin' is a 2 phase project: ay the pictures out! and then embellish and journal. I did run through a lot of ink in the printer with the pictures. I guess I should not have waited to do 3 years in one sitting.

We have a new scrapper that joined the obsessed club today! Erica W. cropped for the first time on Friday with the entent of coming for 4 hours! She ended the weekend with about 20 hours clocked in! She is not the typical newbies either! Her layouts and color cordination is out of this world! No training was required with this one! She did need a few titorials on the cricut (which I am sure she will be owning one by the end of a year!)

Talk about the ability of having everything together by having everyone together! Newbie Cropper came to her first crop with a laptop and package of photos in an oversized purse. She left this weekend with paper, snail glue, glue sticks, GOREGIOUS FINISHED PAGES, scraps, photos organized, and a cute scrappin bag! As if she always and always will be a scrappin' goddess with change in her pocket. The sale and swap part of the crop was awesome. You got to pick through eachothers unwanteds, by a new table for your over crowded space (well it would help if I didn't have to play tetrus in the cavalier to bring everything). I mean, heck of the deals were had! Tastefully simple even was available, thanks to Shelli H., at a unheard of discount.

Oh, did I tell you how I gained a few pounds thanks to the LOVELIES at Dunkin Donuts and Hungry Howies! TOO MUCH FUN!

Hopefully Miss Shelli H. will send a few pics my way, so I can give you a taste of the fun!
Next time you will have to join us or a least stop in for a good chuckles and some great sighes.

The next open one will be the 4H crop that will benefit the local 4H clubs. Get your registrations ready because seata are limited to 30 and they are filling! Go to my calendar to get more info! http://www.midnightpjstampers.stampinup.com/
